I am a bass artist, composer, audio producer and teacher. I am the bassist on the platinum selling video game CUPHEAD. As a jazz bassist I have performed with Cedar Walton Geoff Keezer, Kenny Wheeler and others.
As a screen composer I have written music for feature films and TV—in 2001 I composed the theme for the (Canadian) CBC National News. I have been a re-mix engineer for TV since 2003 and worked extensively in Surround Sound on approximately 1,000 episodes. Since 1994 my independent record label (www.tripletrecords.com) has been releasing award winning music. Distribution via The Orchard. In 2017 I completed my MA in composition and am currently in my 2nd year as a doctoral student at York University in Toronto, Ontario Canada and studying musicology with Dr. Rob Bowman. I have been teaching record production at Humber College in Toronto since 2008 and have also taught music business. I am on the board of directors for the Screen Composers Guild of Canada and and have testified as an expert witness with regard to Copyright at Federal Government hearings for Heritage and Science, Industry and Technology.
