Carlos Caballero is a musician, record producer and professor, BM in Classical Guitar, postgraduate in Audio Postproduction and MA in E-Learning. He is currently a PhD candidate in Arts at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Spain) focused on Colombian tropical music record production between 60´s and 70s. Actually is associate professor and researcher in sound heritage and music production at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the Metropolitan Technological Institute of Medellin, Colombia. Between its publications they are the Musical Production in Study (2010), Compositions and Arrangements for Guitar (2016). He has participated as a speaker at events of the Audio Engineering Society - AES, the Association for the Study of the Art of Record Production - ASARP and the Latin American Branch of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music - IASPM-AL. He is currently the chair of the AES Colombia section for the 2018-2020 period.
